Sensory experience 3

Sensory experiences are an essential part of child development and help children develop necessary fine motor skills.Learning our letters can be so much fun! We can integrate simple materials like cereal to make learning fun and memorable!Math skills are more fun when engaged in interactive and hands on activities using a variety of materials such as blocks !September has flown by and we now excitedly welcome the month of October. These past few weeks children have been adapting to their new classrooms, learning their new routines, making new friends and most importantly learning new skills that will set the foundation for the rest of the academic year.

During the month of October we will be covering a variety of thematic units some of which include All About spiders, pumpkins and bones, and we will also be honoring and celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with a special event for the kids. We will be celebrating a vast amount of fun national holidays such as National Chocolate Day, National Cupcake Decorating Day, Character Book Dress up and our annual Harvest Festival at the end of the month. More information will be sent periodically as the month goes along. This is going to be a fun filled month!

Finally, we want to extend our most sincere gratitude to the parents that came to visit during our Community Helpers Event! The children had a phenomenal and unforgettable experience! Thank you all!If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us via email at info@born2learnpreschool.com or phone at 305.629.9889. We will be glad to assist our families in any way we can!***During the month of October we will continue to conduct Assessments in K2, K2/3, K3, K3/4. We will keep families informed regarding when those results will be available to families.

The event will take place during class hours. Don’t forget to send your child dressed in traditional clothing and with an authentic dish from your country.
