play time at daycare

Play is the foundation for language acquisition and development, especially in young children!Fine motor skills are an essential part of child development; what better way to practice these skills than by learning our colors, shapes and number all at the same time!Cupcake Time!
We enjoyed greatly putting our fine motor skills to practice and enjoying a sweet treat, decorating our cupcakes for National Cupcake Decorating Day!October has been a breeze and we now enter November full of gratitude and thankfulness! The children are well adapted in their classrooms by now, establishing strong relationships with their teachers and their peers. We have also seen tremendous progress both academically and socio-emotionally and we are so proud to see how far the children have come thus far!

November is a month that encompasses gratitude, family, and humility. Teachers will be discussing with children these important values, as well the history of thanksgiving, who the pilgrims and Native Americans were and how they contributed to what we now know as the Thanksgiving Feast and how this act became a beautiful tradition and an imperative part of U.S History! During this month, we will also observe several National “days” such as STEAM Day and World Kindness Day; more information on these events will be sent out periodically throughout the month prior to the event.

We wanted to thank all of our families for your generosity and involvement during the month of October. Hispanic Heritage was a success and the kids greatly enjoyed incing their cupcakes on National Cupcake Decorating Day! Your cooperation and involvement in your child’s educational journey is recognized and appreciated! If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us via email at info@born2learnpreschool.com or phone at 305.629.9889. We will be glad to assist our families in any way we can!***Tadpoles Assessments have been finalized and families should have received a digital copy of the assessment via Tadpoles app or Email. If you have any questions with regards to assessment results, please contact administration to discuss how you can schedule a meeting with the teacher for further information.

Thanksgiving Luncheon with our families will begin promptly at 3:00 PM. There will be a sign-up sheet in each classroom if you wish to contribute! All contributions welcome! πŸ™‚
